Rabbi Yossi Rabinowitz grew up in Toronto, Canada. He attended high school at Yeshivas Nachlas Tzvi of Toronto. For Beis Medrash, he attended Torah Temima in Brooklyn, NY. His desire to grow in learning led him to Eretz Yisroel, where he studied at the yeshiva of R' Dovid Soloveichik ztl, and eventually brought him to Lakewood to continue his learning at BMG.

After seven years in Lakewood, R' Yossi and his wife, Chava (née Gradman), relocated to Philadelphia with a shared mission to make a positive impact on the Northeast Community.
